As football clubs prepare to compete in the Europa League 2022–23, the continent’s secondary club football competition, European honor and a place to the Champions League are on the line.
Last year, Eintracht Frankfurt defeated Rangers on penalties to win the European trophy. As a result, they will compete against elite European clubs in the 2022–2023 Champions League.
Meanwhile, several prestigious teams like Manchester United and Arsenal, will compete for the trophy in this season’s Europa League.
When Is The Europa League Draw?
The draw for the Europa League 2022-23 group stage will take place today; August 26, 2022.
It will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, and the group stage draw will start at noon 12pm WAT.
At the end of the draw, teams like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Roma would have known who they would face in the group stage.

Which Teams Are In The 22/23 Europa League Pots?
There will be 32 football teams participating in the Europa League 2022-23 group stage.

The group stage draw features 12 clubs who are automatic qualifiers and receive straight participation. The draw also included spots for 10 play-off winners, six UEFA Champions League play-off losers, and four third qualifying round League path winners.
According to each club’s coefficient, which was established at the beginning of the season, qualified teams are divided into four pots, each of which has eight teams.
