Glenn Hoddle has credited Antonio Conte with always making sure that his Chelsea team are fully focused on their job this season.
The Blues have been in fine form since the Italian coach’s appointment at Stamford Bridge last summer.
Chelsea initially struggled in the opening weeks of the campaign but have not looked back since Conte opted to switch to a 3-4-3 formation for the west London side.
Conte’s side are flying high at the top of the Premier League table and are currently eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
The Blues also set up an FA Cup clash against Manchester United by beating Wolves 2-0 at Molineux on Saturday night.
And Hoddle feels that the way Conte drills his team on what is expected of them has helped set them apart this season.
Speaking on BT Sport on Saturday, Hoddle said: “Every team Conte sends out, they are focused. They know what they’re doing with the ball and defensively.
“This is the balance they’ve got. It doesn’t matter who’s playing.”
Chelsea, who finished 10th last season, take on Swansea City in the Premier League this weekend.
