Ex-Chelsea Star Set For A Return To The Premier League

Former Chelsea forward, Tammy Abraham is reportedly drawing interests from several Premier League clubs ahead of a return to England.

Currently playing his trade for Serie A side Roma, the Englishman is believed to be available for around £20 million. As I Giallorossi are looking to him off their books after an injury-laden season.

According to Daily Mail, Abraham’s signing has been discussed by West Ham United, Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Everton, among other teams.

Abraham is seen by the Hammers as an appropriate replacement for Michail Antonio, who has the option to leave during the summer transfer window.

After the 26-year-old impressed fans with an impressive season-long loan stint during the 2018–2019 campaign. Aston Villa are considering bringing him back to Birmingham.

Before rejoining his parent club Chelsea, the forward scored 26 goals to help Villa win promotion back to the Premier League.

Tottenham is another club that have their eye on Abraham as they are looking to add a new No.9 during the summer transfer window.

For £34 million, Abraham moved from Chelsea to the Serie A team in 2021. Where he thrived in his first season under Jose Mourinho.

After scoring 27 goals in his debut season for the Yellow and Reds, Abraham said it was “the best decision of his life.”

But during the 2023–2024 season, Abraham found it difficult to stay fit and was only able to make eight league starts.

And for that reason, it appears that he might be about to leave the Serie A team and head back to the Premier League this summer.

Before the summer transfer window opened on June 14, West Ham, Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Everton have all been keeping an eye on the English forward.
