In addition to the two years in jail he will serve, Ben Yedder will also have his driver’s license banned for six months.

His name will be added to the sex offender registry, and he will pay the victim €6,500 in damages.

During the court hearings, Ben Yedder expressed regret to the 23-year-old victim and blamed his behavior on drinking.

Given that he is the subject of an ongoing rape investigation, Diario AS explains that the prosecution was requesting a year in jail and an additional two-and-a-half years in a suspended sentence.

In 2023, Ben Yedder avoided jail time by paying €900,000 bail, reports Football Espana.

In 2010, Ex France international joined Toulouse after starting his career at amateurs UJA Alfortville.

In 2016, he earned a €10 million move to Sevilla, where he played three seasons and scored 70 goals in 138 appearances.

After a €40 million move to Monaco in 2019, he concluded his first season back as a co-top scorer in Ligue 1.

Prior to his release in 2024, he played in 201 games for the French outfit and scored 118 goals.
