Everton have reportedly made a move to sign former Manchester United player, Sofyan Amrabat ahead of the summer transfer window deadline.
Amrabat only made 17 starts for United in all competitions during his loan season at Old Trafford. The 28-year-old did, however, end his loan stint with a victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final, playing the whole 90 minutes.
And Amrabat admitted after the final that he was keen to stay at United, telling Ziggo Sport: “Do I already know what I’m going to do next year? No. We are going to talk. Staying is certainly an option.
“We are going to talk. Manchester United are the biggest club in the world, so who wouldn’t want to play football here? But all parties have to be happy with each other, so we will sit down now and see what happens.”
Amrabat has rejoined Fiorentina and has played in their opening three matches of the current campaign. However, according to the Metro as reported by The Mirror, Everton have made an attempt to entice Amrabat back to the Premier League.
The Morocco international is not only being courted by Everton. Fenerbahce, under Jose Mourinho, are also in negotiations about bringing the player to Turkey.

Fenerbahce are said to have offered to pay a €2 million (£1.6 million) loan fee as well as a €12 million (£10 million) purchase obligation, but Fiorentina feel he is worth more.
Amrabat’s future is still up in the air, and Fiorentina have already recruited Amir Richardson, another Moroccan, as a potential successor. Richardson was signed for over €9 million (£7.5 million) to join from Reims earlier this month.
