Former Manchester United striker, Ruud van Nistelrooy has reportedly been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Following an illustrious career in which he scored 150 goals in 219 games for the Red Devils, the striker began his coaching career at PSV Eindhoven.
Van Nistelrooy eventually took over as manager of the first team after stints as their youth team’s manager and as Guus Hiddink’s assistant during a period with the Netherlands national team.
The 47-year-old won the Dutch Cup in his one and only season in charge before stepping down.
According to Sports JOE Van Nistelrooy has been linked to the soon-to-be vacant Leicester City position.
Enzo Maresca, the Foxes current manager, is about to sign a contract to join Chelsea. And Leicester are set to receive £10 million in compensation.
Maresca, who only coached one season in the East Midlands and won the Championship, will now sign a contract to manage at Stamford Bridge that runs through 2029.
One of the few names linked to the position at the King Power Stadium is Van Nistelrooy. David Moyes, Carlos Corberan, and Graham Potter are among the others.

The former United star would also find managing in the Premier League to be an appealing idea.
During an interview with AS earlier this year he said: “I would really like to work in Spain, and I have had conversations with Spanish clubs. But also the other leagues in which I have played, I want to coach there too. In the Premier League, and the Bundesliga.”
