Former Crystal Palace chairman, Simon Jordan has reportedly admitted he is not a fan of Mohamed Salah and advised Liverpool to sell him in the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old Egypt international was benched during Saturday’s 2-2 draw against West Ham. He has only scored two goals in his last eight games for the Reds.
Before Salah came on as a substitute, he got into a heated argument with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, and as a result, there have been talks about his future at Anfield.
Al-Ittihad made a £150 million bid for Salah last summer. But Liverpool rejected it despite rumors that the Saudi outfit were prepared to pay up to £200 million for the Egyptian.
Despite Salah’s 24 goals and 12 assists across all competitions this season, the Reds held onto the forward. However, Jordan doesn’t think Salah has a lot of good qualities.
What Did Jordan Say About Salah?
Jordan told talkSPORT as cited by Football 365: “I’m not a fan of Mo Salah’s. I think that he plays in a very good Liverpool side that creates a lot of chances. I know that Liverpool fans are going to say that I’m a t** and whatever else they wanna say. I’m just not a huge admirer of his.
“I do believe that there’s a distinct possibility that he will leave. Don’t think he’s as good as people make him out to be. I think he dives, I think he can be a fair-weather player.

“Sell him. I think Mo Salah’s has had a remarkable return for Liverpool and there’s no doubt that he’s been a top player, but I think his race is beginning to be run.
“It’s time for Liverpool to close that chapter. I think Salah, to me, in the last four or five weeks has been a shadow of himself.”
