There was nothing simple about the game. From the beginning, Los Blancos seemed lethargic and disorganized, which gave Sociedad the opportunity to capitalize.
Mijatovic found it difficult to understand how a team like Madrid could let such a performance, especially at this crucial point in the competition.

“Who’s capable of analyzing something like this? Let’s see how you analyze a game in which the other team scores four goals and is eliminated.
“Or how you analyze when Real Madrid starts off sluggishly and then goes into Transformers mode and starts doing the things they usually do,” he said as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
To Mijatovic, Real Madrid are known for their unpredictable play.
Their propensity to start games incoherently before abruptly changing tactics and trying to make a comeback begs the question of how well-prepared and strategic they are overall.
“As a neutral spectator, watching that, you say… my goodness, football is so beautiful! I really enjoyed it.
“I was with some friends watching the game, and everyone was saying… ‘When is Real Madrid going to stop doing things like this?’ And I told them… Never! Never, guys, they will never stop doing it!”
