The FA has charged Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel for comments he made about referee Anthony Taylor following his team’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham on August 14.
After the Premier League game, the manager said that the official shouldn’t be trusted to officiate games involving the Blues.
Several controversial moments occurred during the London derby at Stamford Bridge, and Tuchel insisted that both of Tottenham’s goals should have been disallowed – one for a build-up foul on Kai Havertz and the other for Cristian Romero appearing to tug Marc Cucurella’s hair.
What Did The FA Say About Tuchel?
The Blues manager had already received a fine and a suspended ban from the FA for his involvement in scuffles with the Spurs manager Antonio Conte both during and after the game.
