Ahead of the mouth-watering clash between Manchester United and Arsenal, former Gunners star, Cesc Fabregas has offered his prediction on who is going to come out with a win at Old Trafford.
These two clubs have always been the fiercest competitors. The Premier League was defined by their rivalry in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and there is still a lot of animosity between them.
This season, Arsenal are leading the table handily while Manchester United are a mid-table team in terrible form.
That being said, nothing at Old Trafford should be taken for granted, so this could be a difficult encounter for Arsenal.
According to TBR Football, in an interview with the Planet Premier League Podcast, Cesc Fabregas predicted the outcome of this match and backed his old team to win.
“A derby is a derby, I consider it a big game, Arsenal and United have always been special games. It’s true that, at the moment, United are not at the level they were in the past, we can all agree with that. Arsenal are too strong for them at the moment,” Fabregas said.
“I do think Arsenal play by memory, they are confident, they believe, they have experienced, they have grown over the last year and improved.

“So yeah, I think Arsenal will win that game comfortably, I won’t say easy because United have the history and we have to respect that, but I consider United (not) too strong at the moment.”
Second place Manchester City will play first against Fulham and a victory would take them above the Gunners. A win against United is going to take Arsenal back to the top of the league standings.
