Forbes claims that FC Barcelona has a $28.2 million (€27 million) offer on the table for one of its first squad talents.
Around this time last year, the Catalans signed Vitor Roque from Athletico-Paranaense too soon, with the understanding that they would give the Curitiba club €30 million up front and €31 million in variable payments later if the striker met several goals.
However, he was shut out by previous head coach Xavi Hernandez, who gave him little chances.
The 19-year-old was sent to Real Betis on loan for a one-year temporary assignment that may be extended for another season on June 30 after Xavi’s successor, Hansi Flick, was unable to find a spot for him in his plans either.
Additionally, Betis can pay $26 million (€25 million) to buy Vitor Roque altogether or at least 80% of his rights at the conclusion of each term.

However, in the meanwhile, Palmeiras, a massive Sao Paulo team, may provide Barca with a much-needed financial boost during the current winter transfer window.
In order to pay the Englishman’s wage till the end of 2024/2025, Barca must have at least $9.4 million (€9 million) coming in or cleaned off the books.
Palmeiras wants to pay even more than Betis agreed to: $28.2 million (€27 million) for Vitor Roque. If he were to be sold again, Barca would still own 20% of his rights.
