FC Barcelona’s Raphinha mocked Spanish soccer officials on social media after Robert Lewandowski’s first-half goal was disallowed in a 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad in La Liga on Sunday.
The VAR system mistook a La Real defender’s foot for Lewandowski’s and called the Pole offside when he was on in the 13th minute.
Hansi Flick, the team’s head coach, made no explanations after the game. “We could have played better, like we did in the first few minutes, but we couldn’t maintain the dynamic and we didn’t create enough chances,” stated the player.

“We connected well in possession, but then we struggled, and they scored. In the last third, we were not making the appropriate selections.”Reported By Forbes.
“We started well and scored, but it was incorrectly ruled out.” I informed the referee that it was a terrible decision and that it was not Lewandowski foot. But we must accept it,” the German said.
Some of his players were more vocal about the error, with goalkeeper Inaki Pena stating: “If there is a possible error in the marking of Lewandowski foot, such a clear and serious error, then let the league act because this is what VAR is for.”
“This is what the lines that they use are for, and if there was a mistake, let it be proven, investigated, and acted on,” Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s stand-in added.
“La Liga will have to review whether it is Lewandowski’s foot or not,” midfielder Marc Casado stated.
“It would be serious if they disallowed a goal that was actually legal. I didn’t see it live, but I’ve been told about it. Sooner or later we will know if it was offside.”
