Lutsharel Geertruida made a big suggestion that he would accompany Feyenoord manager Arne Slot to Liverpool when Dirk Kuyt, a former player, suggested him to the team.
The 23-year-old Geertruida is a versatile player who can play holding midfield, full back, and center back.
Since joining Feyenoord’s youth divisions in 2012, he has approximately 200 outings under his belt and has already earned seven caps for the Netherlands.
There has been much conjecture that Slot, who will succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield at the end of the season, will bring several Eredivisie players with him after Liverpool and Feyenoord agreed on a compensation settlement.
When Geertruida shared a photo on Snapchat on Saturday while watching Liverpool play West Ham at the London Stadium, he did little to allay those rumors.

With just one year remaining on his Feyenoord deal, the Dutchman is thought to be worth approximately £25 million should he decide to go this summer.
Metro claims that Slot also intends to bring several members of his Feyenoord coaching staff—including head of performance Ruben Peeters and assistant Sipke Hulshoff—to Anfield this summer. Etienne Reijnen, Slot’s Feyenoord analyst, is also eager to come.
Former Reds and Feyenoord forward Kuyt, who has only high praise for Geertruida and colleague Orkun Kokcu, has already been linked to a move to Liverpool.
Earlier this month, Kuyt told the Liverpool Echo, “I am a Feyenoord man and they are doing very well at the moment.”
Arne Slot is an excellent manager, and some of the younger players, such Orkun Kokcu and Lutsharel Geertruida, are putting in a lot of work and are becoming more and more proficient.
It won’t take long for elite European teams to show their interest in them.
I sincerely hope Liverpool is considering Feyenoord players, and I can serve as an example.
Both Kokcu and Geertruida were on my team when I was the under-19s coach.
You are aware of the skilled players and can predict that they will have bright careers.
“Everyone knew from watching [Cody] Gakpo at the youth level that he was a great talent and that he would play for a club like Liverpool someday.”
