Fikayo Tomori Angry And Ready To Cancel Loss Against Chelsea

After scoring against Juventus this past weekend, Fikayo Tomori commented about how angry he was at AC Milan’s performance against Chelsea.

AC Milan lost 3-0 away at Stamford Bridge the previous week in the Champions League. However, the Rossoneri bounced back by claiming victory in a crucial Serie A match, solidifying their position as a serious title candidate.

Tomori expressed his anger and determination to make things right ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League match at San Siro against Chelsea. The defender was also criticized for his poor defending against Chelsea’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

What Did Tomori Say About Chelsea?

“After the match against Chelsea I was angry and I wanted to give everything on the pitch and when I scored the goal that was my feeling,” Tomori said at Milan’s training ground.

“I wanted to cancel the performance against Chelsea and I expressed how I felt. Every game I try to give my best.

“And last week I know I didn’t do that and that was really disappointing for me. In football you rarely get another chance to put it right.

“And we have as a team, and I have personally, another chance to put that to bed.

“And we have a chance to prove that we’re better than that, I have a chance to prove that I’m better than that, and we have, not that we needed any extra motivation, but after last week we have that extra motivation to push us to try to go for the win especially in front of our own fans as well.

“We don’t need motivation but we will push even harder. It wasn’t the real Milan and it wasn’t me. We have to learn from last week and it’s important for the team’s growth.”
