Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic has joined Juventus on a permanent basis.
With his performances in the Europa League the previous season, the 29-year-old earned interest from clubs all around Europe.
42 years after their historic UEFA Cup victory, Frankfurt won the Europa League by defeating Rangers in the final. Kostic contributed three goals and four assists along Frankfurt’s journey to victory.

At one point, it appeared as though West Ham might win the competition to sign the Serbian international, but he has recently decided to go on to Juventus, ending his four-year stay at the Waldstadion.
What Are The Terms Of The Deal?
Kostic moved from Frankfurt to Juventus for a reported figure of €16m (£14m/$17m) plus add-ons.
During his tenure in Turin, he will reportedly earn a salary of almost €2.5m.
Kostic has signed a three-year contract with Juventus and will now join Massimiliano Allegri’s squad ahead of Monday’s season opener against Sassuolo.
He will continue to play for Juventus at least through the 2025–2026 season.
Why Did Juve Sign Kostic?
With Kostic’s versatility as a wing-back or more conventional winger, Juve decided to add him to their squad in order to improve their alternatives on the left.
Kostic scored 33 goals and provided 64 assists in 172 games for Frankfurt, and Allegri will be hoping his new signing can replicate similar form for them.
Kostic joins players like Paul Pogba, Angel Di Maria, and Bremer in making the move to the Allianz Stadium, bringing Juventus’ total number of additions for this summer transfer window to six.

How Does Frankfurt’s Coach React To Kostic Leaving?
Manager Oliver Glasner referred to him as a “hero” while confirming the transaction, thus indicating there are no bad feelings.
“He’s leaving Eintracht as a European Cup winner,” Glasner said. “As a hero who helped shape it.
“He was player of the season in the Europa League, which he deserves. I don’t begrudge him that from the bottom of my heart.
