Markus Babbel, former Liverpool and Bayern Munich defender, has expressed serious doubts that Jurgen Klopp will return to management anytime soon, particularly as Real Madrid manager.
Despite recent claims that Los Blancos have made informal contacts to Klopp to assess his interest, Babbel believes the German will not take the post, especially given Carlo Ancelotti’s impending departure.
Babbel cited Klopp’s recent decision to leave football owing to tiredness and the heavy strain that comes with managing at the highest level.
“I’m not sure if Klopp will ever manage again,” Babbel added.

“I also don’t see him accepting the Real Madrid job if Carlo Ancelotti leaves this summer and he’s offered the position.”

He also stated that, while Klopp was extremely successful at Liverpool, the stress had its toll on him.
Taking on a challenging post like Real Madrid, especially following Ancelotti’s problems, may not appeal to the former Reds manager. Reported By Marca.
“He quit Liverpool because he was worn out. The pressure was excessive, and it’s even tougher at Real Madrid. One or two poor results, and you’re already under pressure.
“After being eliminated from the Champions League, Ancelotti is feeling the strain right now. “I don’t know if Klopp would want to walk into something like that,” Babbel said.
“He has a good life now, enjoying his time away while working on an exciting project with Red Bull. “Why would he sacrifice that for more pressure?”
