In a convincing 2-0 away victory for Manchester City, Erling Haaland (£11.6m) scored his first-ever Premier League goals against West Ham United to get massive points in FPL.
After successfully converting a penalty in the first half, he perfectly timed his run to seize Kevin De Bruyne’s superb pass for his second goal.
Haaland was substituted with 12 minutes remaining despite attempting to score his first hat-trick in the Premier League, which should ensure that he is well-rested and ready to go for City’s Gameweek 2 match against Bournemouth at the Etihad.

The price of the Norwegian increased over night to £11.6, and it is no surprise that Harry Kane’s (£11.4m) price decreased as many managers made the switch from him to Haaland.
De Bruyne, on the other hand, put on an all-around strong performance, creating three opportunities and attempting two shots.
When City had the ball, Joao Cancelo (£7.0m) and Kyle Walker (£5.0m) switched positions, moving into central midfield, so the Belgian and fellow teammate Ilkay Gundogan (£7.5m) moved closer to Haaland in the offensive positions.
Elsewhere in Manchester, Erik ten Hag had a losing start in charge of Manchester United’s Old Trafford squad, and not even Cristiano Ronaldo(£10.5m) could save them.
In the first half, Christian Eriksen(£5.5m) was used as a false nine, an experiment that failed and resulted in the substitution of Ronaldo after just 53 minutes.
