The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 11 will go down as a memorable one for most managers come the end of the season.
So far this season, GW11 is arguably the most underwhelming for managers as the overall average is placed at a meagre 32 points – the lowest this season – thanks to all major captain choices delivering no attacking returns to their trusted managers.
Without any further ado, let’s get down to the talking points of the gameweek.
In the early kick-off, Manchester United needed a late goal from Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m) to ease the pressure off Erik ten Hag. Second most-owned United asset Marcus Rashford (£8.6m) was left out of the squad as result of a late fitness test ruling him out.
As the first player to score in his team’s opening six away Premier League games of the season, Jarrod Bowen (£7.4 million) created quite a bit of overshadow Premier League history.
At the Gtech Community Stadium, Bryan Mbeumo (£6.8m) made his owners proud by setting up Konstantinos Mavropanos (£4.5m) for an own goal.
Prior to Bowen’s goal, Mohammed Kudus (£6.5m) scored a spectacular goal to tie the game at 1-1.
Erling Haaland’s (£14.0m) injury was unquestionably the most significant FPL news from a hectic and contentious football day. Pep Guardiola substituted the Norwegian off at half-time to spark a wide outrage from the majority of managers who captained him after he produced no returns for them.
It wasn’t only Haaland who blanked at the Etihad, Julian Alvarez (£7.2m) also failed to score or provide an assist in 70 minutes of play.
Not only did Jeremy Doku (£6.5m) take Jack Grealish’s (£7.3m) spot, he also stole the show in Eastlands, contributing to five of City’s six goals.
In a keenly contested encounter between Newcastle United and Arsenal at the St. James’ Park, a contentious Anthony Gordon (£5.7m) goal was the only one which separated the two teams.
The winger recorded his eighth attacking return of the season, but the strike was scrutinized for three distinct infractions by the VAR.
Attacking talents such as Eddie Nketiah (£5.6m), Callum Wilson (£7.8m), and Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) all blanked in this high octane clash.
Crystal Palace defensive assets continued with their impressive form at both ends of the pitch. Tyrick Mitchell (£4.5m) took the praise after he scored late in the game against Burnley and alongside Marc Guehi (£4.6m) and Joachim Andersen (£5.0m), kept a clean-sheet.
Nottingham Forest surprisingly recorded a 2-0 win over the high-flying Aston Villa at the City Ground. Harry Toffolo (£4.4m) assisted both goals scored by Ola Aina (£4.5m) and Orel Mangala (£5.0m) to give the home team the victory.
Ollie Watkins (£8.4m) blew Villa’s finest opportunity. Moussa Diaby (£6.8m) and the Watkins only managed three shots between them, which was an exceptionally low output.
Blanked – Son, Watkins, Salah, Saka, Alvarez ❌

Darwin Nunez (£7.5m) had nine attempts on goal on Sunday, which is tied for the most of any player in the Premier League so far this season. But he was unable to find the back of the net at Kenilworth Road.
The Uruguayan missed a chance from four yards out after being set up by Mohamed Salah (£12.8m).
In a game marred by injuries and red cards, Chelsea defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1. Nicolas Jackson (£6.8m) plundered a hat-trick. Cole Palmer was also on the scoresheet as he converted from the spot to level things up for the Blues.
James Maddison (£8.1m) and Micky van de Ven(£4.7m) were both substituted after they picked up injuries. Destiny Udogie(£4.8m) and Cristian Romero(£5.0m) were sent off following their rash tackles.

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).
This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.
No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.
Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.
Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.
All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
