FPL GW16 Recap: Games Coming In Thick And Fast; iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 16 saw all but one popular premium assets fail to record any attacking return, making their owners disappointed despite relatively easy fixtures.

Bukayo Saka (£10.4m) has now made it back-to-back blanks after failing to produce returns against Fulham and now, Everton.

Following his brace and an assist against Tottenham Hotspur, Cole Palmer (£11.1m) also registered no return in Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Brentford.

Erling Haaland (£14.9m) couldn’t continue from where he left off against Crystal Palace as he also blanked against Manchester United.

Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) was the only exception among these assets as he provided an assist in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Fulham.

Alexander Isak (£8.7m) is already becoming a viable alternative to Haaland as he yet again registered a double figure haul following a goal, an assist and two bonus points, and subsequently broke the most-transferred in curse. It is now two double digits in three games for the Swede.

Lewis Hall (£4.6m) is also another in-demand asset following a cleansheet and two assists as Newcastle United defeated Leicester City 4-0.

Crystal Palace ace, Ismaila Sarr (£5.7m) won the player of the week with 17 points after scoring two goals, providing an assist and collecting the maximum bonus points in the Eagles’ 3-1 win against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The iSoccer FPL GW16 Winners

1     Siu FC

2    H4Olisaemeka

3    FC RRaf

4    Gunners Bazooka

5    AYOPELU (WINNER)

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).

This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.

No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.

Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.

Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.

All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
