FPL GW19 Recap: End Of The Festive Fixtures; iSoccer Winners

What a frenetic festive fixtures we witnessed in the 2024-25 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.

This period saw players broke all-time and personal records of the game, chief among them being Mohamed Salah (£13.6m), who smashed an all-time record for the quickest a player has ever reached the 200 points mark in the FPL.

The Egyptian reached the figure in just 18 matches overtaking Luis Suarez, who took 25 matches to reach the double century mark in the process.

Alexander Isak (£9.2m) broke his personal record since his move from Real Sociedad to Newcastle United in 2022. The 25-year-old, currently on 112 points is having his best season so far in the game.

The Swede was transferred in the most and yet again he didn’t disappoint as he plundered 7 points following a goal and one bonus point against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Also, is Matheus Cunha (£7.0m), who boasts just a point less of Isak’s seasonal tally as he sits pretty in the top 5 highest point scorers in the FPL.

The same can be said for Brentford ace, Bryan Mbeumo (£7.7m), whose 117 points is well enough to put him third in the rankings only behind Salah and Cole Palmer (£11.4m).

Despite ending his goal drought against Leicester City, Manchester City talisman, Erling Haaland (£14.8m) is currently not having his best season as his 110 points tally was not enough for top 5 and ultimately his worst at this stage of the season since swapping Borussia Dortmund for the Cityzens in the 2022-23 campaign.

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).

This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.

No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.

Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.

Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.

All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
