The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 21 was a long, drab and boring one, no thanks to the division of fixtures across a 2-week period due to the Premier League winter break.
Managers were left to wait for an extra week to know their fate before moving to the next gameweek.
The captaincy choices of managers proved to be an important factor as there are plenty of options available. But, unfortunately, not all players given the armband eventually returned with massive points at the end.
The most-capped player, Bukayo Saka (£9.1m) returned just 3 points following his blank in Arsenal’s 5-0 win against Crystal Palace. Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins(£8.9m), the second most-capped returned with one point. Cole Palmer (£5.8m) though gave his backers 10 points after his penalty goal made Chelsea ease past Fulham.

Liverpool forward, who was classified as a midfielder in FPL, Diogo Jota (£7.9m) was the player of the week after he plundered 19 points, thanks to his two goals and an assist in the Reds’ 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium.
Gabriel Magalhaes (£5.0m) was next in line with 18 points. The Gunners defender scored a goal, assisted, and kept a clean-sheet.
Kevin De Bruyne (£10.5m) returned back to the Manchester City fold with a bang as he produced a goal and an assist in City’s 3-2 win against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park. Magpies duo, Anthony Gordon (£6.1m) and Alexander Isak (£7.6m) both got on the scoresheet in the encounter.
After ending his goalscoring barren in the league against Aston Villa, Rasmus Hojlund (£6.8m) continued his impressive form by scoring the first goal in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford (£8.4m) also made it two goals in two games as he plundered the Red Devils’ second goal.
Pedro Porro (£5.9m) combined well with Richarlison (£7.0m) as Spurs pegged United back. The Spanish defender now has 8 assists to his name, with no player having more this season.

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).
This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.
No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.
Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.
Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.
All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
