FPL GW24 Recap: Records Upon Records For The Egyptian King; iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 24 saw plenty managers hit the 100-point mark with the overall average pegged at 87 points, this is the highest of any GW this season.

The majority of FPL managers activated their chips with the most being the Assistant Manager, thanks to the presence of a double gameweek which saw Everton and Liverpool play twice.

The next most used chip which was the Triple Captain saw a mammoth 1.09 million managers triple-captained Mohamed Salah (£13.7m) ahead of the Reds visits of Bournemouth and Everton. And the Egypt international did not disappoint as he recorded a whooping 29 points across the two games with three goals, an assist and six bonus points.

In fact, the point haul saw the Liverpool talisman equalled his best-ever gameweek score having plundered such tally against Watford where he scored 4 goals and provided an assist in his debut season with the Reds in 2017-18.

Everton striker, Beto (£4.9m) was next on the list with 21 points having scored three goals in matches against Leicester City and Liverpool.

The Guinea-Bissau international, who was owned by just a little over 19,ooo managers was a major differential for this matchweek.

Nottingham Forest forward, Chris Wood (£7.1m) punished managers, who sold him ahead of the DGW as he notched a resounding hat-trick in the Tricky Trees’ ruthless 7-0 victory over Brighton.

Crystal Palace ace, Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.3m) continues his impressive form as he scored a brace to claim 13 points as the Eagles ran out 2-0 victors against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Frenchman has now made it six goals in the last five matches for Palace. With an ownership of just 6.4 percent, and with Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa coming up next, he is definitely an asset to watch out for.
