FPL GW27 Recap: Differentials Make The Difference; iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 27 will surely go down as one of the GWs where assets with low ownership dominated proceedings.

Most popular picks performed well below expectations as managers were pumped up ahead of the gameweek, with Chelsea playing host to relegation-threatening Southampton, where they believed Cole Palmer (£11.1m) is going to recover the points he ought to have given in the past match weeks.

Though, the Blues won 4-0, but the 22-year-old disappointed with another blank. With just one return in the last six matches, his owners will definitely be running out of patience.

His teammates, Marc Cucurella (£5.1m), Christopher Nkunku (£5.7m), Pedro Neto (£6.2m) and Levi Colwill (£4.4m) all returned double-digit hauls in the clash against the Saints.

Liverpool ace, Dominik Szoboszlai (£6.4m) has now made it back-to-back double-figures following his goal in the Reds’ 2-0 win over Newcastle United to claim 11 points.

The Hungarian continued from where he stopped against Manchester City where he plundered a goal and an assist to collect 14 points. With just 3.5 percent ownership, the 24-year-old is someone to look out for ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Southampton at Anfield.

Jaden Philogene (£5.3m) and Ismaila Sarr (£5.5m) tied with Cucurella in the player of the week standings following their braces against Manchester United and Aston Villa respectively to claim 15 points apiece.
