FPL GW29 Recap: El Magnifico On The Wheel; iSoccer Winners

What a way to end the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 29 as several managers were left reeling at some of their decisions due to low points scored by majority of their assets only for Bruno Fernandes (£8.6m) to take around 1.9m gaffers, who brought him in ahead of the GW above the average point-mark pegged at 40.

The Portuguese netted a goal and provided a brace of assists to register 17 points in Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Leicester City at the King Power stadium.

Diogo Dalot (£5.0m) also returned a double-figure haul following an assist and a cleansheet as the Red Devils climbed further in the Premier League standings.

Nottingham Forest duo, Nikola Milenkovic (£4.9m) and Anthony Elanga (£5.3m) were the men on fire as they claimed 11 and 16 points respectively in the Tricky Trees’ 4-2 thrashing of Ipswich Town.

Wolverhampton Wanderers pair, Jorgen Strand Larsen (£5.6m) and Jean‐Ricner Bellegarde (£4.9m) also returned double figures as the latter provided the two assists for the former’s brace to put Southampton to the sword.

Omar Marmoush (£7.3m) yet again claimed to be a worthy asset following a goal and an assist to collect 12 points as struggling Manchester City were held by Brighton and Hove Albion.

This season has already become one where goalkeepers are also seen as outfielders (no joke intended) with some shot-stoppers already putting their names on the assist chart.

Ederson Moraes (£5.3m), Jordan Pickford (£5.1m), Mark Flekken (£4.4m), Bart Verbruggen (£4.5m) and now Bernd Leno (£5.0m) in the mix.

The German goalkeeper kept a cleansheet and provided a sumptuous assist for Ryan Sessegnon (£4.1m) to double Fulham’s lead against Tottenham Hotspur.
