The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) returns following a 2-week break due to international commitments of players for their various national teams.
What a way to return back to points anticipation as the first match of the Gameweek treated managers with some level of excitement as Newcastle United fought back to defeat West Ham United in a 7-goal thriller.
Alexander Isak (£7.7m) and Anthony Gordon (£6.0m) plundered 15 and 8 points respectively with the latter getting sent off late in the game. Injury returnee, Harvey Barnes (£6.2m) scored a brace to announce his comeback in the fold.
From the Hammers perspective, Jarrod Bowen (£7.9m) and Mohammed Kudus (£6.8m) both registered a goal and an assist to deliver double figure hauls.
Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer (£5.9m) appears to be growing in FPL numbers as he yet again, delivers a double figure points following his brace against Burnley.
The differential of the week, Ben Brereton Diaz (£5.0m) was also the player of the week as he plundered 18 points in Sheffield United’s 4-3 loss to Fulham. The Chile international was selected by 6,157 managers, with just 222 bringing him on board ahead of the just concluded game week.

Popular asset, Son Hueng-min (£10.1m) got on the score-sheet in Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-1 win over Luton Town. The South-Korean made up for his owners after his blank against Fulham in GW29.
Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) announced his return to Liverpool starting line-up with a goal and 7 points in the Reds’ 2-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion. This is the Egyptian’s first League start since New Year’s day.
Nothing could separate Manchester City and Arsenal in their goal-less draw encounter at the Etihad stadium. Popular assets, Erling Haaland (£14.3m), Bukayo Saka (£9.0m), Phil Foden (£8.1m) and Kevin De Bruyne (£10.4m) all fired blanks to the disappointment of their owners.

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).
This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.
No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.
Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.
Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.
All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
