FPL GW32 Recap: Keeping Up With The Dance Like Harvey Barnes? iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 32 was one where two teams, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United both had a double gameweek. While the former struggled in theirs, the latter blossomed with scintillating displays from their assets.

Starting with Harvey Barnes (£5.9m), who undoubtedly was the player of the week following his three goals, one assist and four bonus points which earned his owners 27 points in Newcastle’s 4-1 win against Manchester United and 5-0 victory over Palace.

Since stepping in for Anthony Gordon (£7.4m), the 27-year-old always has the course to provide at least an attacking return.

In fact, the England international has provided a minimum of one return in each of his last five matches for the Magpies, hence the question; are you keeping up with the dance (progressing in the ranks despite adjusting to a new circumstance) like Harvey Barnes?

Jacob Murphy (£5.2m) Sandro Tonali (£5.5m), Kieran Trippier (£5.6m), Fabian Schar (£5.5m) and Eddie Howe (£1.5m) are the other Newcastle assets to make it to the team of the week following their points haul.

Despite conceding three goals in Southampton’s loss to Aston Villa at the St. Mary’s stadium, Aaron Ramsdale (£4.4m), with a 1.2 percent ownership can hold his head high as he returned 16 points following two penalty saves which was enough for him to claim the maximum bonus points.

The return subsequently made him become the goalkeeper with the most number of points in a single match this season.

Form is temporary, while class they say, is permanent. That is exactly the case with Manchester City midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne (£9.3m).

The Belgian, following his announcement to leave the Etihad at the end of the season, came up with a bang as he scored a goal and provided as much assist to claim 12 points in City’s incredible 5-2 comeback win against Crystal Palace.

Ipswich Town duo, Ben Johnson (£3.8m) and Julio Enciso (£5.4m) put up amazing performances in the Tractor Boys’ 2-2 draw against Chelsea. The pair assisted one another to collect 12 and 13 points respectively.
