Fulham Set To Return With Improved Offer For Arsenal Star

Fulham are reportedly not willing to give up on their pursuit of Arsenal midfielder, Emile Smith-Rowe as they are set to return with a much improved bid.

It’s said that the Cottagers made over £30 million offer the 23-year-old including bonuses.

According to Futbol Insider, Fulham are now thinking about putting in a better bid after the Gunners rejected their initial offer.

The England international is being considered by Crystal Palace among other midfield possibilities, despite their interest in him being strong.

After Arsenal rejected their proposals, both London teams are eager to returning to the Emirates Stadium for the midfielder.

Palace and Fulham have been debating whether to try again behind closed doors, and the Cottagers have reached a decision.

The team led by Marco Silva are ready to return with a new proposal to tempt Arsenal for Smith Rowe.

It’s uncertain at this point whether Palace will test them with their own offer once more.

Although Fulham’s offer for the attacker was said to be a club record. The Cottagers will have to make an even bigger offer the next time around.

Smith Rowe wants to make sure he plays regularly for the first team next season. Though, it appears unlikely that he will be able to do so if he stays at Arsenal.

The Hale End academy graduate is interested in staying in London, thus he is well-suited to both Fulham and Crystal Palace.

Since making his Arsenal debut in 2018, he has appeared in 115 games for the north-London club.
