Since suffering a knee injury while representing Brazil in Qatar, the striker has not played for the Gunners.
However, he has been working hard to recover in recent weeks, and on Saturday he took part in the post-game warm-up with the substitutes following Arsenal’s 3-2 win against Bournemouth.
That was considered as a significant step forward for Jesus, and he returned to full training with the squad on Wednesday at London Colney ahead of the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie at Sporting.
Arsenal’s traveling team is scheduled to depart London for Lisbon on Wednesday afternoon, and Jesus is expected to be on the flight.

Although it’s not yet known if Mikel Arteta will include him in the starting lineup for the game, his mere presence on the plane is another strong hint that Jesus’ long-awaited comeback is close at hand.
Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney will not be involved on Thursday night for Arsenal. The left-back is not travelling with the squad due to illness.
Furthermore, Leandro Trossard (groin) and Eddie Nketiah (ankle) also miss out.
