Gabriel Makes Surprise Admission, Reveals The Club He Would ‘Join Tomorrow’

Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes has reportedly confessed his love for Brazilian outfit, Corinthians and stated he would love to play for the club.

According to Goal, the 26-year-old claimed that he would gladly play for the Sao Paulo-based Corinthians, a Brazilian Serie A team, having been a big fan of the team since he was a young child.

The defender even said he would “join tomorrow” if Corinthians came calling.

The Arsenal star appeared on YouTuber Cartoloucos’ channel, and said [via ESPN Brasil]: “My favourite club? Corinthians, that’s since I was born.

“And today I don’t think it has to be any different. I still go to Corinthians games by train. It’s my dream, I want to play for Corinthians, I want to feel that energy.

“It’s something to think about. Sometimes I stop and think, ‘Do I dream of playing for Corinthians?’ I do.

“When would I play for Corinthians? For me, I’d be at Corinthians tomorrow. I hope it doesn’t take me long because I want to feel the energy of those fans, who are incredible, as soon as possible.”

The Brazilian and Frenchman William Saliba have formed a strong defensive force under Arteta. The Gunners had the best defense in the Premier League last season despite losing the title to Manchester City by a narrow margin.
