Gary Lineker has hinted at Jurgen Klopp’s future after his nine-year term as Liverpool manager ended.
On Sunday, Klopp handled Liverpool’s final game, which resulted in a 2-0 victory.
Since Klopp announced his departure from Anfield at the start of the year, there has been much speculation about his future plans.
He left the club as one of its most successful managers, having won eight championships, including the Premier League and Champions League.

He has committed to take a break from football, admitting that he would never manage again in the Premier League and is unclear of what post he would accept if he were to return.
On The Rest Is Football Podcast, Lineker said:
“I’ll be interested to see what Jurgen Klopp does next.” I believe he will take a break because he truly believes he has ran out of energy. You can understand why that work is so tough.
“He will face a war in a year. Alternatively, they will be lining up for around a year. I heard a rumour that he could wind up as president of Borussia Dortmund, which would be fantastic.”
Klopp took a brief hiatus from his role as manager of Dortmund in his native Germany before joining Liverpool in 2015.
He guided Dortmund to two Bundesliga wins and one German Cup.
Klopp will not be short of suitors following Liverpool’s exit
There is nothing certain about the Liverpool legend’s future except that he will never manage a Premier League side.
Given his track record, clubs all around Europe will want to hire him.
If Lineker’s report is true, Klopp will be missed on the touchline, where he made so many memories throughout his illustrious career.
