Thus far throughout his tenure at FC Porto, Samu Omorodion has left a lasting impression in both the domestic league and the Europa League.
Chelsea would feel some remorse as well, given that the Blues appeared to be close to signing the striker in the summer, even if Atletico Madrid may be sorry to see him go.
After the transfer fell through, Chelsea later welcomed Joao Felix back to the team.

Omorodion has now discussed the failed move to Stamford Bridge with RTVE, offering his perspective on the move to Chelsea that didn’t work out.
According to O Jogo, he stated: “I went through a very difficult period because, in reality, it didn’t happen. After all, everyone knows that I was about to sign [for Chelsea].” There was only one explanation: God opposed it.
He continued by expressing his happiness and contentment with his current situation in Porto. Actually, I’m having a great time, and I want to keep showcasing my abilities above anything else.
When Omorodion’s move to Stamford Bridge fell through, rumors circulated that he had failed his medical.
He has scored seven goals in as many games at Porto, though, and has not experienced any health problems thus far.
That addresses one of the uncertainties surrounding his future.
