Antoine Griezmann says his future is at Atletico Madrid despite his international team-mate Laurent Koscielny urging him to move to Arsenal.
France forward Griezmann is among Europe’s most in-demand prospects and is likely to be a target for Chelsea in the summer transfer window, whilst Manchester United have also been consistently linked with the 25-year-old.
And it appears that Arsenal vice-captain Koscielny may have been making the case for a move to the Emirates, but the charm offensive has not swayed Griezmann.
“For Arsenal, he [Koscielny] speaks to me about them often,” he told France Football.
“But I feel good at Madrid. I do not want to leave. I feel calm here. The little one [his daughter] has just arrived, I am playing matches, I feel good.
“Sorry, I am going to stay. But Arsenal is a wonderful team. They play great with the ball.”
Griezmann, who finished third in voting for the 2016 Ballon d’Or. has scored 41 goals in 75 games for Atletico Madrid since the start of last season, firing Diego Simeone’s side to the Champions League final in the process.
He was also in inspirational form at Euro 2016, winning player of the tournament after his match-winning brace against Germany in the semi-final.
