PEP GUARDIOLA has reportedly instructed Manchester City to make a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports Daily Express.
The Gabon international has been in fabulous form for Borussia Dortmund this term.
32 goals in 37 appearances for the Bundesliga striker pays testament to this.
Manchester United and Arsenal have both been hovering over the 26-year-old, as they seek to add a world-class striker to their ranks.
Reports emanating from France suggests United will have to qualify for the Champions League should they wish to land Aubameyang.
But according to Le10 Sport, City have designs on him too.
The report suggests Guardiola is desperate to get his hands on the star.
It is thought he is prepared to allow Wilfried Bony to leave, and use the money from that sale to fund a move.
Last week Dortmund sporting director Hans-Joachim Watzke admitted it will take a massive bid just to open talks over a move for Aubameyang.
“If at any time an offer of €100m [£78m] or €120m [£95m] for Aubameyang comes to us, then we will discuss,” Watzke told Spanish paper AS.
