According to dependable Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, Gundogan may depart the team before the transfer window closes.
Romano, who almost always gets things right during the transfer window, stated that Barcelona is willing to let the 33-year-old go and that the player’s team is searching for alternatives in the days ahead.

Now that they’ve added Dani Olmo to the team, Barcelona has an excess of midfield players, and Gundogan is one of them because of his age.
