Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland has reportedly been tagged a ‘beast’ and backed to break every Premier League goalscoring record this season.
In the first four games of the new season, the City striker has scored nine goals, including two hat-tricks. After scoring twice in City’s 2-1 victory over Brentford over the weekend, Haaland now has 99 goals for the Sky Blues in just 103 outings.
Haaland is in ‘beast mode,’ according to former Arsenal and Chelsea defender William Gallas, who believes the Norwegian attacker will shatter Premier League records this campaign.
“I’m watching this player and thinking ‘this is a guy who is in beast mode’,” said Gallas as echoed by The Mirror. “Nine goals, two hat-tricks, four games. Wow!
“I don’t know if he has set himself any individual targets, but he looks like he is going to break every single goal-scoring record in the Premier League this season. It’s impossible to predict how many goals he will get this year, but you can say with confidence that it will be loads.
