According to SPORT, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is considering a huge move to strengthen the team’s defensive by signing Bayer Leverkusen’s star defender, Jonathan Tah.
According to the publication, Flick is actively promoting this signing as part of Barcelona’s summer transfer intentions.
It should be remembered that Tah will become a free agent at the end of the current season after choosing not to renew his contract with the German club.
However, Barcelona is not alone in their pursuit; Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also interested. The defender is apparently considering joining either Barcelona or Bayern, both of which have good reputations in their respective divisions.

Flick’s influence might be decisive, since he is known to hold Tah in high respect and regards him as an important addition to Barcelona’s backline.
Tah wants Germany or Spain.
According to sources, Tah has already turned down offers from Italian clubs like as Inter Milan and Juventus, indicating that he is uninterested in playing Serie A.
Instead, he appears intent on extending his career in the Bundesliga with Bayern or moving to La Liga with Barcelona.
Real Madrid briefly considered signing Tah during the January transfer window owing to defensive injuries, but decided against it because they did not want to spend more than €10 million when Tah could be available for free this summer.
A long-term aim.
Barcelona had expressed interest in Tah during the end of the last summer transfer window, but Bayer Leverkusen’s asking price was deemed too expensive since his contract was about to expire.
Flick, on the other hand, has remained interested, considering Tah as a good fit for Barcelona’s style of play because to his defensive skill set, which Flick believes will improve Barcelona’s overall gameplay.
By signing him on a free transfer, Barcelona might add significant talent to their defense without significantly increasing their budget.
Flick’s knowledge with Tah’s playing style and abilities heightens the potential of this move, making the German defender a strategic addition to the Blaugrana.
