Harry Kane Makes Shocking Decision On His England Football Career After Euro 2024 Defeat

Harry Kane was left “heartbroken” after England lost 2-1 to Spain in the final of Euro 2024.

Nevertheless, he has no plans to retire from international football following a competition in which, in spite of his challenges, reports Mirror.

The 31-year-old Kane was substituted in all but two of the games and became the first player from the Three Lions to be taken out of the final by manager Gareth Southgate due to injury concerns that had plagued his tournament.

The England all-time record goalscorer and Bayern Munich player, however, has no plans to resign as captain and quit. He promises that he and his teammates would “dust ourselves down and be ready to fight again” before the World Cup in two years.

In a social media message, Kane expressed his heartbreak at not having succeeded in what he had fought so hard to attain.

“I’m really happy of the guys and staff for making it to the final. it was a long yet difficult campaign.

“We will have to accept the fact that we ultimately fell short of our goal but we will get back up, pick ourselves up and get back in the game wearing an England shirt, just as we always do.

We appreciate all of the supporters that stuck with us and never gave up on us.”
