England captain Harry Kane will be given with a gold cap to commemorate his 100th appearance for his nation ahead of Tuesday’s Nations League match against Finland at Wembley.
The Bayern Munich striker will become the 10th Englishman to attain a century of international caps, the first since Wayne Rooney in 2014, and will aim to improve on his team record of 66 goals.
England confirmed on Monday that Kane, who was wearing golden boots during a morning training session, will start the match against Finland as captain for the 73rd time. According to daily mail.
Kane, 31, has participated in more major final games (28) than any other English male player, as well as more competitive matches (83) than any other senior men’s international.
