Eden Hazard has revealed that himself and Thibaut Courtois would “love” for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan to join Chelsea this summer.
Nainggolan, 28, has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer. Furthermore, earlier this weekend it was reported by Gazzetta World that Chelsea are ready to pay €40m to sign him.
And now Hazard, who plays with Nainggolan for the Belgium national team, has revealed he would love for the midfield star to join the Blues.
Hazard said in a press conference ahead of Belgium’s game with Italy today: “Thibaut Courtois and myself would love him to come to Chelsea.”
Both Hazard and Nainggolan will be hoping to start for the Red Devils against Italy at the Stade des Lumières in Lyon.
Belgium are one of the favourites to win Euro 2016 given their strength in depth but there is pressure on the players and manager Marc Wilmotts following the Red Devils’ uninspiring World Cup in Brazil – where they were knocked out by Argentina.
Meanwhile, Nainggolan had an excellent season for Roma. The no.4 midfielder played in 35 Serie A games, scoring six goals.
