Henry Mention The Matches That Will Decide Arsenal’s Premier League Win

Arsenal icon, Thierry Henry has claimed that the Gunners last five away league games will determine whether they win or lose the Premier League title.

Arsenal sit third on the log after 25 games following Manchester City’s win against Brentford on Tuesday night. They are two points behind leaders Liverpool and one point adrift City..

There is hope that the Gunners can win their first league title in twenty years, despite not being as highly favored as their rivals. Especially now that they have gained experience from the previous season’s title fight.

Their late collapse, which saw them win just three of their final nine games and one of their final five away games, caused that campaign to collapse.

What Did Henry Say About Arsenal’s Chances Of Winning The Premier League?

Henry thinks that, despite his encouragement from their recent form—21 goals in just five games—the away games will once again determine their season.

“Well when you are third you don’t feel comfortable, the only thing I will say, I wasn’t so much surprised about the result against Burnley – not having a go at Burnley.

“I was more surprised with the win at West Ham, especially the way they played,’ the Arsenal legend said on CBS as echoed by The Metro.

“They knocked us out in the Carabao Cup, they beat us at home. So I thought that was going to be a very difficult game and we went and won there 6-0 and you beat Burnley 5-0.

“But the games away from home, the last five games away from home, will decide the title for us at Arsenal.”

With just six away league games remaining, the Gunners’ next clash is against Sheffield United on March 2, which should be an easy victory.

After that, though, they have to go to Brighton, Wolves, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Manchester City. They might have to balance the Champions League with those difficult trips.
