‘I Love This Club’ – Real Madrid Forward Confirms He Will Not Leave This Summer

Rodrygo Goes’ future at Real Madrid has been the subject of several rumours and conjecture in recent months.

Following the arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick in the summer, it was suggested that the 23-year-old Brazilian’s place in the team was no longer secure and that he may go, particularly with Manchester City showing interest.

In the end, nothing of the type happened, as neither Real Madrid nor Rodrygo considered a summer departure.

Rodrygo doubles down on stance.

Now, Fabrizio Romano writes that Rodrygo never considered leaving Real Madrid during the summer.

According to the Italian transfer specialist, the 23-year-old Brazilian forward was unconcerned about the arrivals of Mbappe and Endrick and had no intention of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, despite Manchester City’s desire.

According to Romano, Rodrygo considers Real Madrid to be the ‘greatest club in the world’ and only wanted to stay with the Spanish capital giants this summer.

Rodrygo aspires to win more titles with Los Blancos and plans to be a part of the project, which is why he signed a new contract with the club less than a year ago.

Rodrygo made this obvious in a recent interview, saying: “I think about winning all the titles that I’ve already won several times.”

“It’s the best club in the world, and that’s what drives me every day: to perform at the highest level possible. That’s why I get up every day to train and to be better.”

It would be interesting to observe if Rodrygo’s opinion on his future at Real Madrid evolves next year, especially if he loses some prominence in the club during the current season.
