Roberto Firmino has stated that he “of course” wants to continue at Liverpool.
The Brazilian, who Brendan Rodgers signed in 2015, has played a significant role in the Red’s success under Jurgen Klopp. Together with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, he formerly made up the dangerous front three for Liverpool, but Mane has since left as Liverpool continue to rebuild their team.

Firmino’s position is also under threat, with Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, and now Darwin Nunez all coming in the last two years. With only one year remaining on his contract, it means that a starting position is no longer certain, and Juventus has expressed interest in signing him.
The forward started in Saturday’s Community Shield victory over Manchester City and stated afterward that he was not considering a move elsewhere. To TNT Sports Brazil, he stated: “I love this team, this city and the fans. I’m here. I want to stay, of course.”

Firmino will have a tough time securing the appearances he wants this season. Liverpool will once again be competing on multiple fronts, and rotation will undoubtedly be an important element of Klopp’s strategy throughout the season.
As rumors of a probable exit grow, the German has been speaking highly of his Brazilian forward over the past week. The manager backed Firmino’s ability but showed no sign of what the club plans to do with his future.
