Ibrahimovic compares himself to red wine

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dropped his latest brilliant sound-bite by comparing himself to a red wine in that he gets better the older he is. Furthermore, the forward also confirmed he’s happy at Man United.

Ibrahimovic netted twice for United on Saturday as the Red Devils defeated West Brom 2-0, taking the striker to 11 goals in his debut Premier League season.

At 35-years-old there had been questions as to if Ibrahimovic would be able to adapt to the English game at such an experienced age but the Swede insists he is feeling good at Manchester United.

And Ibrahimovic has said he is a like red wine in that he is only better the longer he is around.

The striker is aware that every game in the Premier League is tough but insists that he and United are prepared for the challenges to come for the rest of the campaign.

Furthermore, Ibrahimovic also confirmed he feels happy and good at Old Trafford, news which will delight Man United fans.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Ibrahimovic said on his time in England: “I’m settling in. I feel happy, I feel good. Even if I’m 35, in my mind I’m 20. I think I could play also at 50, but it won’t be down to me.

“The older I get, the better I get, like red wine! You like red wine? I’m a perfect example of that. The older I get, the better I play.”

“It was a good game. We took the three points, even though it was a difficult game, very physical. But in the end, we won and we are very happy about that.

“Every game is hard in the Premier League, not only here, every game is hard. We knew that and we were prepared for it. We are working hard and today we got the three points, so it’s good.”
