While dismissing suggestions of retirement, injured AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has promised he will return “with violence.”
Ibrahimovic, who will turn 41 in October, had surgery in May to repair an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Furthermore, he is not anticipated to return to the field until the new year.
Despite not being a regular starter for Milan in 2021–22, Ibrahimovic was an important member of the team as Stefano Pioli’s team won the Serie A for the first time in eleven years.
Thanks to his influence, Milan granted him a new one-year deal in July despite his ongoing injury problems.
What Did Ibrahimovic Say About Retiring?
The striker’s fitness setback generated new rumors that he was about to hang up his boots, but he has now come out to debunk them.
The Rossoneri veteran said to Gazzetta dello Sport: “You will surely see it. When I come back, I will be heard, you can count on it. I will do it with violence.
