On Tuesday, the Blues and Southampton reached an initial £53 million agreement for the transfer of Lavia. With a potential add-ons which could rise to £58 million.
Ziyech will be the latest player to leave Stamford Bridge. After striking an agreement in principle with Galatasaray for his transfer.
According to the Irish Independent, Lavia is now in London for his medical exams.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side has had a hectic few days, as Moises Caicedo from Brighton was successfully captured on Monday, setting a British record.
Caicedo’s transfer might ultimately cost £115 million. And a move to sign Crystal Palace winger, Michael Olise is getting closer.
Lavia informed Southampton on Monday that he preferred a transfer to west London. And on Tuesday night, the Blues and the freshly relegated Saints came to an agreement for his transfer.
Lavia will sign for an initial fee of £53 million, with Southampton having the option to tack on another £5 million.
However, Todd Boehly, the owner, is still paying heavily after triggering Olise’s £35 million release clause on Tuesday.
