Inter Miami have sacked Phil Neville after a run of 10 defeats in 13 MLS games has seen them drop to the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
The 1-0 loss at home to the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday was their 10th in their last 13 league games.
Neville, 46, joined Inter in January 2021 and helped the club reach the MLS Cup playoffs in 2022.
Fans have been vocal about their discontent with Neville’s management this season, and they even booed his son when he came on as a late substitute on Wednesday.
The axe has finally fallen, and the club, which was founded in 2021 and is backed by David Beckham, is looking for a new head coach.
“Sometimes in this game we have to make the toughest decisions,” Beckham said in a statement.
