MANCHESTER UNITED are in talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over a monster Old Trafford contract, according to reports.
Italian paper Corriere dello Sport say that the Red Devils are prepared to blow their rivals out of the water for the Swede.
AC Milan are thought to be keen to bring Ibrahimovic back to Serie A but they will not be able to compete with the mega-money on offer at Old Trafford.
Corriere say that the Paris St-Germain striker has asked for a whopping €3m a month (£2.4m) which works out at £600,000-a-week.
That’s double what he earns in the French capital on his contract which is about to expire.
It would put him on a par with the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of earning power.
United are prepared to offer Ibrahimovic such lavish wages because he will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
