Lecce is impressed by the Red Devils’ interest in their talent, and the Italian club’s president, Sticchi Damiani, revealed that discussions took place and described the encounter as “cordial.”
According to Corriere dello Sport, which PianetaLecce cited, Dorgu’s group has now come to a “basic agreement” to relocate to Old Trafford, suggesting that personal terms won’t likely be an issue.
Lecce is not satisfied with Manchester United’s offer of €30 million plus possible incentives of €5 million, which was offered during yesterday’s meeting.
If Dorgu is signed by Man United in January, the Italian team wants a cost of at least €40 million.
In addition, they want to keep the player on loan at the club until the conclusion of the season, reports Sport Witness.
Lecce is presumably unaware that Manchester United is frantically searching for someone who can fit into the system Ruben Amorim wants right now since they haven’t seen the Premier League table recently.
Danish professional football player Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu was born on October 26, 2004. He plays for the Denmark national team and Serie A Club Lecce as a left-back or wing-back.
