Roberto Mancini believes England deserve to be in the Final and that Leonardo Spinazzola has been the best full-back at UEFA Euro 2020.
The Azzurri meet the Three Lions in the EURO 2020 Final on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
“I think they deserve to be in the Final because they’re a team that gives you very little, a solid team, I think it’ll be a great Final,” Mancini told the FIGC.
Mancini was shown a few pictures from the tournament and commented on them.
When he looked at the pictures of players celebrating with Leonardo Spinazzola’s shirt after the semi-final against Spain, Mancini said: “This was the celebration after the game, a tribute to Spina, who’s been the best full-back at the tournament and it’s a real shame that he’s not with us to play the Final. It will remain the fact that he’s been the best.”
‘Mancio’ went on to comment on many more special moments from EURO 2020, including his hug with Gianluca Vialli during the Round of 16 tie against Austria and Jorginho’s last penalty kick against Spain in the semis.
