‘It’s Not My Job To Decide Neymar’s Move To Barcelona’ – Hansi Flick

Hansi Flick, the head coach of Barcelona, has not ruled out making a spectacular summer transfer for Neymar.

After an injury-plagued 18-month stint in Saudi Arabia, during which he played just seven games and scored one goal, Neymar severed his relations with Al-Hilal in January.

With six goal contributions in seven games, the 33-year-old has made an emotional homecoming to his boyhood club, Santos.

With his eye-watering £200 million move from Barcelona to PSG in 2017, Neymar, who is still the most expensive player in the world, only agreed to a short-term contract with the Sao Paulo-based team, opening the door for a potential return to Europe later this year.

The brilliant winger is reportedly eager to return to the Nou Camp, reports Daily Record.

When asked about a spectacular swoop ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League matchup with Benfica, Flick kept his cards to himself.

He said: “It’s not my job. I said this before.

We have a lot of opportunities, therefore I am now totally focused on this club to the end of the season.

They need to stay concentrated, and the coach needs to be focused too. This is a job for [sporting director] Deco and the club, not me, so they will handle it.”
